Thomas & Holloway Opticians are a long established business, trading since 1986. Servicing over 3,000 patients annually, our brief was to overhaul their website and bring it in line with their newly updated branding.
Video was key to the new website, with the client wanting an emphasis on the series of videos that had been created for each practice. The primary call to action on the home page takes you straight into Thomas & Holloway's introductory video, which explains why people should choose them over local competitors. Most of the videos feature Mark Holloway, Managing Director at Thomas & Holloway, and showcase his undeniable passion for patient care and quality of product. Whilst the brand identity looks the part and sets the tone for the business, having Mark feature in promotional videos helps to inject personality and gives the business a human touch - very important in this particular line of work.
The design and build of the website was completely bespoke, starting with wireframes for key pages followed by initial designs to get the look and layout right before going to the build phase. The process was very collaborative, with Mark and his team providing valuable input on how they felt certain parts of the website would work. The completed website is a vast improvement over the previous version, both aesthetically and functionally, and reflects the professionalism and quality of care that Thomas & Holloway are so famous for in their local community.
